About Training and PlacementCell
The Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) provides comprehensive guidance and support to students in achieving their career aspirations. The Cell plays a proactive role in identifying current industry requirements and prepares students accordingly to meet professional expectations.
Adequate emphasis is placed on soft skill development, which complements the regular academic curriculum and enhances students’ overall employability. Aptitude tests, mock interviews, and group discussions are conducted at regular intervals to strengthen students’ performance in campus recruitment drives and competitive examinations.
The T&P Cell functions in close coordination with Departmental T&P Coordinators and student representatives, ensuring effective communication and participation across all disciplines. Job-oriented courses and specialized training programs are regularly organized in collaboration with industry experts to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices.
MATS University also facilitates guest lectures, expert talks, and visiting faculty programs to provide industry exposure and contemporary insights to both students and faculty members. The Cell actively organizes industrial visits, on-the-job training, internships, and live projects, enabling students to gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge. In addition, the T&P Cell encourages student participation in public speaking forums, leadership activities, and volunteering initiatives to enhance confidence, communication skills, and professional competence.
