The Inter-University Student meet under the MoU between MATS University and Guru Ghasidas University to Launch Research Projects in Chhattisgarh soon.
An Inter-University and Cross-Cultural Student Meet was successfully organized on 15th December, 2025 under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Guru GhasidasVishwavidyalaya (GGV), Bilaspur and MATS University, Raipur. The programme brought together around 60 participants, including BSW and MSW students, Ph.D. research scholars, and faculty members from both institutions.
The session began with a warm welcome by Dr.Archana Yadav, Head of the Department of Social Work, GGV, who briefly outlined the background and purpose of the MoU.
Dr. Dina Nath Yadav, Head of the Department of Social Work, MATS University, Raipur discussed the significance of the MoU, stating that it will facilitate collaboration in achieving the highest standards of research and academics. The joint initiative will organize national and international seminars and various projects. In this context, Dr. Yadav shared insights from his book "Community Organization in Social Work".
As a token of gratitude, MATS University presented a copy of the book on "Community organization in Social Work" to the Department of Social Work, GGV. On behalf of the participating students from MATS University, Ms. Sangeeta Sahu, Ph.D. Scholar (Social Work), shared a brief motivational reflection, acknowledging the learning experience of students and how we need to connect the learning from the field. The programme concluded with felicitation of the Head of the Department and students from MATS University by GGV, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sandeep Kumar Morishetty, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work. Other alumni and students present in the program included Jham Mandle, Vivek Kashyap, Mansi Singh, Muskan Singh, Rakhi Yadav, Shruti Keshwani, Tami Koderma, Sangeeta Yadav, and Tejaswi from Guru Ghasidas University, along with other students from the department.
