Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Visit
On February 24, 2026, the students of the Department of English undertook an educational tour to the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand knowledge of the legislative proceedings and the functioning of the Vidhan Sabha. During the tour, students were given a comprehensive overview of the Vidhan Sabha’s structure, including its various departments, and functions. Students had an interactive session with Mr.G.S.Saluja,Srnior information Officer, and Mr.G.Sheshgiri Rao, Under Secretary, Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha, shared valuable insights into the functioning of the legislative assembly. They observed the proceedings of the first Budget presented by the Honorable Finance Minister. The students also had the opportunity to interact with officials and staff members, who provided valuable information about the legislative procedures.
