Lateral Entry
The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of B.E. shall be the passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) scheme with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics conducted by C.G. Board of Secondary Education or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board or university.
OR
Candidates who have passed the Diploma course in related branch of Engineering from C.G. Board of Technical Education or equivalent shall also be eligible for admission to third semester of B.E. Course.
OR
Candidates who have passed Diploma Examination in the first division from M.P. Board of Technical Education in appropriate branch of Engineering shall be eligible for admission to the third semester / second year of the course
OR
Non Resident Indian candidates shall also be eligible for admission to B.E. as according to the directives of the Government provided they satisfy with the criteria of clause of first above.

Engineering @ MATS
MATS University’s fundamental mission is the advancement and dissemination of knowledge. Teaching- both undergraduate and postgraduate programs- is our core business. We aim to produce graduates equipped for both personal and professional achievement. Our courses reflect this through up-to-date content that is informed by the latest developments in research and responsive to the needs of employers and industry. Students have access to modern facilities and equipment, and we use a variety of teaching method to enable all our students to develop personal and professional skills such as presentation skills, computing skills, communication and teamwork.
100+ computers are available to our students across a variety of well-equipped computer rooms within the Schools. These are in addition to the central computing facilities of the university.
Engine testing suites, fluids, structures and materials labs, make up just part of the wide range of engineering facilities within the school.
Metal Fabrication Laboratory, Metal Machine Shop, Model Making Workshop, Metal Fabrication Lab, and Woodworking Workshop.

The students of MATS School of Engineering & IT had a visit to Godavari Power & Ispat Industry to learn the changing trends particularly in power sector. The student also got an opportunity to see and study infra – structural developments along with technical aspects of planning from engineering experts.
